POSTAL

A fellow fire fighter recounted this story to me and I have never forgotten it.
One day while riding the ambulance he made a "shooting" call. He arrived to find a middle-aged man, a postman as a matter of fact, who had been shot. He and his partner loaded up the patient and enroute to the hospital my friend asked his patient who had shot him. As it turns out it was his wife that had gone "postal" on him. But he survived his wound.
A few months later my friend makes another "shooting" only to find that the patient is again the postman. My friend asks him, "who shot you this time?" and the patient replies, "my wife". "That's who shot you last time!" my friend comments. "Yeah, and if she don't knock it off, I'm gonna leave
her!" was his only response.
